Role overview A four-month contract position for a detail-oriented capture artist who will produce high-quality gameplay footage and screenshots used in marketing, promotional materials, in-game, and social content. The role blends creative shot composition with technical operations across debug game builds and capture hardware, working closely with producers, creative directors, developers, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities - Capture high-quality gameplay footage and screenshots across various game modes and scenarios - Stage and execute specific gameplay moments based on creative briefs and marketing requirements, with a strong eye for shot composition and storytelling - Operate debug game builds and capture hardware, configuring recording settings to meet project specifications - Troubleshoot issues with game builds, hardware, and software used during capture - Maintain organized asset libraries with proper naming conventions and file management for distribution to on-site and remote editorial teams - Collaborate with producers, creative directors, developers, marketing, and editorial partners during capture planning and creative reviews
Requirements - Experience working with debug builds and in-game camera controls - General computer proficiency on both Mac and PC - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction - Strong organizational and asset management skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously - Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Nice to have - Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder
