Responsibilities - Investigate game activity and telemetry to identify potential cheating. - Gather and assess evidence, then write clear reports with findings and recommendations. - Help prioritize, validate, and tune detections used to identify suspicious behavior. - Work with teammates to turn investigation results into targeted actions that protect player experiences.
Requirements - Demonstrated ability to investigate complex technical problems and monitor adversarial activity thoroughly. - Ability to take initiative and drive work to completion with limited supervision, while contributing effectively in a team. - Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to present clear, data-supported conclusions. - Proficiency querying relational databases with SQL and experience using a large-scale data service such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery. - Familiarity with security and cheating issues in large-scale commercial games, and interest in protecting players.
Nice to have - Experience in game security, anti-cheat work, or a similar investigative field. - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Omni. - Additional language skills, including Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese, or Spanish.
