Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role overview Design and maintain automated testing for web, mobile and cloud applications, helping teams find defects and deliver reliable releases. You’ll work with developers and product colleagues to shape test strategy and improve quality processes, while also handling manual checks where automation is not yet available.

Responsibilities - Develop, maintain and run automated test suites and scripts. - Design test cases from requirements, including checks for edge cases and complex workflows. - Review test results, report defects and track them through resolution. - Collaborate with development and product teams to support release quality. - Contribute to testing strategies, QA process improvements and CI/CD pipelines. - Perform manual testing where needed and document test plans and quality standards.

Requirements - At least five years of professional experience in software QA or software engineering. - Strong grounding in testing methods and QA practices, including manual testing of complex applications. - Practical experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks. - Experience using Playwright. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control and test management platforms. - Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases and communicate across teams. - A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in a test automation language such as Java, JavaScript or Python.

Nice to have - Experience testing AI, web, mobile or cloud-based products.
