About this role
Role overview A pre-sales engineering role focused on cybersecurity solutions, partnering with channel resellers and customers across a regional territory. Requirements - At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5 years plus an MBA. - Active CISSP certification; vendor-specific network security certifications are provided during onboarding. - Strong hands-on experience with L2–L7 networking, NAT, stateful firewall, IDS/IPS, web and content filtering, proxies, email security, VPN, PKI, WLAN, syslog, NetFlow/IPFIX, and Active Directory/LDAP. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, and GDPR, and with virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure. - Demonstrated solution-selling skills including whiteboarding, objection handling, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to operate with minimal day-to-day instruction.
Nice to have - Microsoft Azure or AWS Associate-level certification. - Prior background in pre-sales, support, or professional services within a vendor, channel, customer, or distribution setting.
