Business Intelligence Data Analyst

Role overview Own business intelligence reporting and analysis that helps teams make informed decisions. You’ll work with stakeholders to define meaningful measures, deliver dependable dashboards, improve data quality alongside engineering colleagues, and help users get more value from self-service analytics.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models for business teams. - Gather reporting needs from stakeholders and turn them into defined KPIs and useful analysis. - Check source data and report outputs for accuracy; record assumptions and metric definitions. - Work with data engineering on analytical requirements, data models, and transformation logic. - Create communications, guidance, and training materials for self-service BI users. - Document data lineage and reporting conventions, and find ways to automate manual reports and improve refresh reliability.

Requirements - Experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related data role. - SQL proficiency, including CTEs and window functions for shaping datasets. - Familiarity with dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts. - Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, Power Query, and dashboard design, or experience with comparable visualization tools. - Ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize work, and solve problems with care and ownership. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, including explaining analytical findings to both technical and business audiences.

Nice to have - Experience with text messaging or CPaaS platforms, payment services, or CRM and marketing automation data such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
