About this role
Role overview Take an early engineering role building and operating production infrastructure for blockchain networks. You will shape how nodes are deployed, monitored, scaled, recovered, and automated, helping ensure that infrastructure incidents do not become application outages as network and customer demand grows.
Responsibilities - Deploy and operate blockchain nodes across multiple networks. - Automate node setup, upgrades, snapshots, recovery, and scaling. - Improve node reliability, synchronization speed, and recovery time. - Create infrastructure-specific monitoring and alerting, and investigate node failures, RPC degradation, and chain incidents. - Develop automated responses to recurring infrastructure failures. - Benchmark clients, configurations, and infrastructure providers; improve capacity planning and support new network launches. - Contribute to architecture decisions involving Kubernetes, networking, observability, and infrastructure automation.
Requirements - Strong experience with Linux, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud infrastructure. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform. - Background in monitoring and observability. - Experience responding to production incidents and diagnosing complex infrastructure failures. - Ability to automate repetitive operations and reduce manual intervention.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first work with high technical ownership and direct access to company founders. - Opportunity to influence architecture at an early stage, with minimal bureaucracy. - Stock options through an employee stock ownership plan.
