Software Developer

Role overview Support the design, development, and maintenance of internal desktop and web applications that power crisis intervention services across multiple states. This is a 100% remote position collaborating with a multi-discipline team throughout the full software development lifecycle, delivering operational software used by departments across the organization. The role blends hands-on coding, API work, and cross-functional problem solving.

Responsibilities - Analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based software applications. - Maintain web applications, web services, and back-end processes to ensure reliable operation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and deliver software solutions. - Diagnose complex technical application issues by identifying root causes, proposing solutions, and driving timely resolution. - Keep development-related documentation current for seamless support and operation. - Help define and interact with REST-based APIs and participate in code reviews and quality assurance checks.

Requirements - 3 to 5 years of experience in the field. - Proficiency with .NET, C#, Java, JavaScript, Visual Studio, REST APIs, and JSON. - Ability to gather requirements and estimate work effort on implementation initiatives. - Strong written and verbal communication, with comfort maintaining professional boundaries. - Demonstrated resourcefulness, accountability, and a self-development mindset. - Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, OR, PA, TX, VA, or WA, with reliable home internet meeting minimum speed thresholds.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Python, JIRA, or frontend frameworks such as React or Angular. - An associate's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
