.NET C# and Business Central AL Developer

Role overview Build and maintain software extensions and integrations for established business management products used for payroll, tax, procurement and retail operations. The work combines product engineering in Business Central with integrations that connect financial records to external services, while keeping releases reliable and compatible with platform updates.

Responsibilities - Design, develop and deliver AL extensions, with attention to code quality and readiness for distribution through an app marketplace. - Extend existing payroll, tax, procurement and retail products built on Business Central. - Develop C# integrations between the ledger and banks, tax authorities or point-of-sale devices. - Review pull requests and help maintain upgrade safety as the platform evolves. - Work with functional consultants to translate statutory requirements in African markets into product behavior and data.

Requirements - Strong hands-on experience with C# and Business Central AL in live customer environments. - Familiarity with source control and team workflows using Azure DevOps or GitHub. - Experience with automated testing for AL. - Ability to clearly document a posting, tax integration or payroll calculation you have delivered.

Nice to have - Experience preparing or maintaining marketplace-listed applications. - Work integrating eTIMS, PAYE or similar statutory systems in African markets. - Business Central certifications. - Willingness and ability to travel to Europe.
