Dynamics 365 Technical Architect

Role overview Lead technical architecture for client programmes built on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Commerce and related cloud services. You will shape the overall solution, guide developers and consultants, and make design decisions that balance business needs with maintainability and upgrade readiness from initial planning through go-live support.

Responsibilities - Own architecture across environments, application lifecycle management, security, integrations and extension strategy. - Produce and explain solution designs spanning data models, interfaces, reporting and cutover planning. - Establish coding and packaging standards for X++ customizations that support future platform updates. - Design integrations among Finance & Operations, Commerce, Dataverse, Azure and business systems. - Review technical designs and code changes, help resolve delivery issues, and remain involved through UAT, cutover and hypercare. - Align architecture, scope and estimates with functional consultants and project management.

Requirements - Experience as a technical architect or lead developer on a Finance & Operations or AX programme delivered to production. - Ability to map environments, identities, integrations and data flows, and explain the design trade-offs. - Strong X++ and extension-model judgment, including knowing when configuration is preferable to customization. - Experience designing or reviewing integrations, SSRS reporting and Electronic Reporting on live systems.

Nice to have - MB-700 or an equivalent architecture certification. - Experience with Commerce, dual-write or Azure integration patterns. - DevOps and environment-strategy experience for Finance & Operations. - Ability to travel within Europe.
