Dynamics 365 Finance

Role overview Lead the finance workstream for a Dynamics 365 Finance implementation, making sure core accounting processes, statutory tax and connected business applications produce dependable financial records. The role spans solution configuration and design through workshops, testing, cutover and post-launch support, with a focus on multi-entity organizations.

Responsibilities - Configure general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, banking, tax and period-close processes. - Design financial dimensions, intercompany processes and consolidation for multi-entity groups. - Connect payroll, tax and disbursement applications to the finance system so transactions post accurately. - Lead requirements workshops and prepare functional designs that explain the intended solution. - Guide finance users through user acceptance testing and cutover. - Support the solution after launch, including during the first month-end close.

Requirements - Hands-on delivery experience with Dynamics 365 Finance or AX, including at least one live finance close. - Ability to explain and investigate trial balances, tax postings and bank reconciliations. - Strong workshop and documentation skills, with materials finance controllers can follow.

Nice to have - MB-310 certification or equivalent experience. - Familiarity with statutory requirements in Kenya, South Africa or Nigeria. - Experience using Power BI for finance reporting. - Willingness and ability to travel to Europe.
