Dynamics 365 Commerce / POS Developer

Role overview Develop point-of-sale extensions for retail and food-and-beverage operations, connecting in-store transactions with the financial ledger. The work covers Commerce and Store Commerce components, integrations with store hardware and digital channels, and the resilience needed to keep stores operating when connectivity is interrupted.

Responsibilities - Build extensions for Dynamics 365 Commerce and Store Commerce point-of-sale systems using TypeScript and C#. - Extend Commerce Runtime services, channel databases and point-of-sale views. - Integrate handheld devices, payment terminals and e-commerce channels, ensuring transactions can be reconciled. - Preserve offline operation and reliable end-of-day posting so stores can continue trading through connection disruptions. - Coordinate with finance and supply chain specialists to keep inventory and payment tender records consistent.

Requirements - Delivered extensions or implementations on Dynamics 365 Commerce, Store Commerce, CPOS or a comparable point-of-sale platform. - Strong TypeScript and C# skills. - Understanding of how a retail payment tender is represented in the general ledger. - Experience delivering technology for retail or food-and-beverage operations.

Nice to have - Experience profiling hardware or integrating store peripherals. - Familiarity with the Commerce SDK and Commerce Runtime extensions. - Payment gateway integration experience. - Willingness and ability to travel to Europe.
