Senior Python Full-Stack Developer

Responsibilities

- Design and build Django services backed by PostgreSQL schemas, background jobs, and reliable automated tests - Integrate third-party services such as Stripe and other SaaS APIs into existing products - Develop pragmatic frontends using React, HTMX, or server-rendered templates depending on project needs - Read existing codebases, propose refactors that reduce risk, and document decisions for the rest of the team - Collaborate with designers, other engineers, and stakeholders to align scope and quality

Requirements

- Strong proficiency with Python and Django in production environments - Experience designing PostgreSQL schemas, writing automated tests, and structuring background work - Comfort working across the stack, including modern frontend patterns and server-rendered approaches - Ability to read unfamiliar codebases, identify risky areas, and propose incremental improvements - Clear written communication and a track record of documenting decisions for teammates
