Job details
About this role
Role overview This role focuses on shipping modern frontends for clients who prioritize performance, SEO, and long-term maintainability. The engineer owns complete feature slices, spanning route structure, data fetching strategies, loading states, forms, and analytics instrumentation. Success requires fluency in the React ecosystem and a careful approach to the trade-offs between server and client rendering.
Responsibilities - Own feature slices end-to-end, from routing and data fetching through loading states and form behavior. - Implement analytics instrumentation that captures meaningful user interactions without bloating the bundle. - Integrate REST or JSON APIs, handling authentication cookies and tokens securely on both client and server. - Build interfaces with Tailwind CSS, leveraging utility classes to keep styling consistent and maintainable. - Write tests where they add real confidence, and profile before optimizing rather than guessing. - Communicate proactively when scope, UX details, or technical constraints appear ambiguous.
Requirements - Strong proficiency in React and Next.js, including practical understanding of server components versus client components. - Fluency in TypeScript across application code. - Awareness of common hydration pitfalls and how to avoid them. - Experience integrating REST or JSON APIs and handling auth tokens or cookies safely. - Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS for building responsive interfaces. - Comfort owning features independently while collaborating with design and backend peers.
Nice to have - SEO-aware rendering patterns and performance optimization experience. - Familiarity with testing tools that add confidence without slowing iteration.
