Role overview
Translate complex Army financial, transactional, and administrative processes into functional requirements for modernized systems. You’ll help teams recover business rules from legacy applications, preserve accounting controls and auditability, and reduce risk as capabilities move into new workflows.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy database applications and document their transaction flows as platform-independent requirements. - Identify regulatory constraints, process risks, and operational impacts associated with migrating established capabilities. - Map legacy data structures, master data, and hierarchical accounting lines across transactional systems. - Define validation rules for transaction statements, account reclassifications, and funds distribution. - Facilitate workshops with process owners, lead user acceptance testing, and coordinate transition of support to sustainment teams.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret clearance or higher. - At least five years of business process implementation and solutioning experience. - At least five years of SAP functional design experience. - Experience with Army business processes. - Experience designing solutions for GFEBS.
