About this role

Role overview Build production web applications and AI-powered product experiences across the frontend, APIs, and services. The work combines full-stack engineering with product thinking: understanding user problems, shaping solutions with colleagues, and delivering software that is reliable, maintainable, and useful.

Responsibilities - Develop applications and services using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js. - Create conversational interfaces, AI-powered interactions, and agent workflows. - Use AI tools to explore ideas, write and test code, while reviewing their output and taking responsibility for shipped work. - Investigate user needs and challenge assumptions before settling on an implementation. - Make technical decisions across the stack, balancing scalability, performance, maintainability, and simplicity. - Work with product, UX/UI, and engineering colleagues to deliver cohesive experiences.

Requirements - At least five years of hands-on full-stack JavaScript experience and a record of delivering production applications. - Strong working experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js. - Practical experience building or integrating REST APIs and working with SQL databases, including data modeling decisions. - Sound technical judgment, including attention to architecture, performance, and code quality. - Ability to use AI in day-to-day development while critically checking results and owning the final code. - A product-minded approach: curiosity about users, comfort making decisions, and focus on outcomes.

Nice to have - GraphQL experience. - A portfolio, side project, or demo repository that shows how you solve technical problems and turn ideas into working software.

Benefits and work setup - The role includes an annual team gathering at a different location in Germany, with travel and attendance expected. - Benefits include 30 days of annual leave, December 24 and 31 off, optional four-day weeks on designated Fridays, a public transport pass, bike leasing, sports and health support, mental health resources, discounts, and streaming access.
