Role overview A Salesforce Developer is needed to serve as a hands-on technical lead for an enterprise Salesforce platform that powers sales, service, marketing, and operations. The role focuses on translating complex business needs into scalable, maintainable solutions and shaping how the platform evolves across the organisation.
Responsibilities - Design, build, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. - Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems via REST and SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven patterns. - Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs in partnership with administrators and stakeholders. - Create and sustain automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes. - Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and support release management, sandbox hygiene, and CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX. - Contribute to architectural reviews, platform strategy, and roadmap planning. - Produce clear technical documentation, including design specs, data-flow diagrams, and runbooks, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements - Proven experience developing production Salesforce solutions with Apex, LWC, and Visualforce. - Strong integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or event-driven architectures. - Familiarity with Salesforce DX, version control, sandbox management, and CI/CD practices. - Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and produce scalable designs. - Solid grasp of secure, performant coding practices and code-review discipline. - Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have - Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification. - Marketing Cloud development experience (AMPscript, SSJS, APIs). - Exposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
