Role overview
Spend six months working alongside a senior engineer on a live client system that supports business operations. You’ll contribute code while learning how teams translate needs in manufacturing, healthcare, or finance into practical AI systems, including the business reasoning and audit considerations behind technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Work with an engineer on a system used by a client’s finance or operations team. - Join discussions where clients explain the business problem and its context. - Write code for review and incorporate feedback from a senior engineer. - Learn how operational requirements, such as payment matching and audit evidence, influence system design. - Consider which features are necessary and which should be left out.
Requirements
- Provide a repository for a project you built yourself. - Include a short explanation of why you built the project. - Be prepared to discuss both your code and the reasoning behind your choices.
