WMS Implementation Engineer

Role overview Drive end-to-end onboarding of customers onto a Warehouse Management System tailored to eCommerce operations. This role blends hands-on configuration, customer consulting, and light project management to translate complex warehouse and shipping requirements into a working software implementation.

Responsibilities - Lead full-cycle WMS implementations from discovery through go-live, delivering on time and at quality. - Run discovery to surface detailed receiving, picking, packing, and shipping requirements for both domestic and international operations. - Translate operational processes into system workflows and configurations. - Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and integration support. - Identify gaps or enhancement opportunities and partner with Product and Engineering to resolve them, recommending process improvements that maximize customer ROI. - Guide customers through user acceptance testing, go-live readiness, and a clean transition to the Support team post-implementation.

Requirements - Two to three years of hands-on experience implementing WMS software in customer-facing roles. - Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and configuration validation. - Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics. - Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects. - Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have - Experience implementing shipping, TMS, or other logistics platforms. - Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or Acumatica. - Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, APIs (such as Postman), or JavaScript.
