Role overview This position supports the design, testing, and evaluation of mid-band radar systems for a federal government contracting program. The analyst will work remotely with up to 40% CONUS travel, contributing to RF engineering efforts that span subsystem design through data analysis and reporting. An active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
Responsibilities - Design, test, and evaluate mid-band radar systems and supporting RF subsystems - Plan and execute RF test campaigns, including system configuration and data collection - Perform post-processing of collected data and contribute to performance analysis - Develop technical reports and engineering papers documenting findings - Apply expertise in antennas, transmitters, exciters, and receivers during engineering activities - Travel to CONUS sites approximately 40% of the time to support field work
Requirements - 5+ years of experience in radar or RF engineering or systems analysis - Comprehensive technical understanding of radar subsystems, including antennas, transmitters, exciters, and receivers - Knowledge of radar waveform design, phased array and MIMO operation, and RF aperture definition - Experience with radar subsystem design, testing, and performance analysis - Skilled in RF test planning, system configuration, data collection, and post-processing - Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
