Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js + TypeScript)

Role overview A long-term, full-time remote role for a seasoned full-stack engineer who can take ownership across the entire product stack. You'll contribute to multiple modern web applications, shape technical direction, and ship polished features to production alongside a small, quality-focused team.

Responsibilities - Design and build full-stack features using Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions) and TypeScript. - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Node.js. - Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations. - Build responsive, production-quality UIs with Tailwind CSS. - Profile and optimize application performance across the stack. - Review code, mentor teammates where appropriate, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements - Deep expertise in Next.js and TypeScript, including advanced patterns and modern Next.js features. - Production experience shipping real Next.js applications end to end, beyond tutorial-scale work. - Strong Node.js experience building backend services and APIs. - PostgreSQL mastery, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations. - Tailwind CSS proficiency for fast, responsive UI work. - Experience with modern deployment workflows such as Vercel, Railway, or comparable platforms. - Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have - Building AI-powered features with the Vercel AI SDK, TypeScript-based AI libraries, or production LLM integrations. - Experience with streaming responses, real-time AI features, tRPC or similar type-safe API layers, Edge functions, middleware, or open-source contributions. - A product-minded approach, independence, and a quality-first shipping attitude.
