Sr. Staff Product Designer, AI/ML

Role overview

This role is for a senior staff product designer focused on AI and machine learning experiences within a large user experience organization. The position is based remotely in the Seattle area with flexible work arrangements and reports into a professional design team covering North America. The work centers on shaping AI-powered product experiences alongside cross-functional partners in product, research, and engineering.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design of AI and ML product experiences from concept through detailed execution - Set the bar for interaction craft, visual polish, and usability across AI surfaces - Partner with research, engineering, and product management to ship and iterate on AI features - Mentor designers and contribute to design system work for AI experiences

Requirements

- Senior staff-level product design experience with a portfolio of shipped complex software products - Demonstrated work designing AI, ML, or other data-rich product experiences - Strong systems thinking, interaction design, and prototyping skills - Ability to operate remotely while partnering effectively across time zones
