Role overview This is a senior, staff-level software engineering position focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) within a Digital Technology organization. The role is fully remote or flexible, based in Maine, and is part of a regular full-time engineering team serving customers in North America. The work centers on building, securing, and scaling identity systems that protect enterprise digital assets.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain IAM software components and services used across the organization. - Operate within the Digital Technology department to deliver secure, reliable identity infrastructure. - Apply security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle for identity-related systems. - Contribute engineering leadership at the senior staff level, mentoring peers and influencing technical direction. - Collaborate with distributed teams across North America in a remote or flexible work arrangement.
Requirements - Significant professional experience as a software engineer, with deep exposure to Identity and Access Management concepts and systems. - Proficiency in building production-grade software with strong attention to security, reliability, and scalability. - Demonstrated ability to operate independently as a senior staff-level contributor, including technical decision-making and cross-team influence. - Eligibility to work as a regular full-time employee in the United States. - Comfort working remotely or flexibly, with effective collaboration across distributed engineering teams.
Nice to have - Experience working within a large, geographically distributed Digital Technology or IT organization. - Familiarity with enterprise security cost-center operations and the tooling that supports them.
