Responsibilities - Engage with the Rust community through forums, conferences, social platforms, and online channels - Produce educational material such as tutorials, blog posts, code samples, and demo projects - Gather developer feedback and translate it into actionable product insights - Represent the team's technical perspective in ecosystem discussions and events - Cultivate relationships with crate maintainers, contributors, and open-source projects
Requirements - Practical Rust experience, ideally in production systems or substantial side projects - Clear written and verbal communication skills in English - Demonstrated track record of public technical writing, talks, or community contributions - Familiarity with the Rust ecosystem, including Cargo and widely used libraries
Nice to have - Contributions to popular Rust crates or to the compiler and tooling - Background in systems programming, async runtimes, or WebAssembly - Comfort communicating with developers across multiple regions and time zones
