Role overview This role is for a developer advocate focused on the Go ecosystem. The advocate will work directly with Go developers, combining genuine engineering credibility with public-facing communication and community leadership. Responsibilities - Engage with the Go developer community through writing, conference talks, meetups, and open-source contributions - Produce idiomatic Go sample code, libraries, and tutorials that demonstrate effective platform usage - Gather and synthesize community feedback for engineering and product teams - Collaborate with internal engineers to improve APIs, SDKs, and documentation from a developer-experience perspective - Build ongoing relationships with Go community influencers and contributors
Requirements - Production-level experience with Go and its standard library conventions - Strong technical communication skills across writing, video, or live presentation - A public track record of open-source work, conference appearances, or community leadership - Self-directed style suited to a distributed, low-process environment
