Developer Advocate (French)

Role overview This position calls for a developer advocate who serves as a bridge between an engineering-driven organization and its community of software developers across French-speaking markets. The role emphasizes education, technical communication, and relationship-building rather than traditional sales, with the goal of helping developers succeed while feeding community insight back into product direction. It is a remote-first position suited to someone comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

Responsibilities - Create technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and documentation aimed at French-speaking developers - Engage with the developer community through forums, social channels, online discussions, conferences, and meetups in French-speaking regions - Translate and adapt existing technical materials into French while preserving technical accuracy - Collect feedback from developers and relay actionable insights to engineering and product colleagues - Represent the organization at events, webinars, and community gatherings - Collaborate with engineers to keep public-facing material technically precise

Requirements - Native or professional fluency in French, plus strong working English for internal collaboration - Hands-on background in software development or API integration - Demonstrated experience writing technical content or speaking publicly about technology - Comfort working autonomously in a remote-first, asynchronous environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt new tools

Nice to have - Experience with search APIs, web data extraction, or scraping tooling - Prior involvement in open-source communities - An existing network within French-speaking developer circles - Background in developer relations, technical evangelism, or a similar community-facing role
