Developer Advocate (Chinese)

Role overview A developer advocacy position focused on the Chinese-speaking developer community. The role connects a product team with engineers across mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the wider Chinese-speaking world, supporting learning, adoption, and ongoing community dialogue. It fits a bilingual advocate who can write and speak about software in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities - Engage with Chinese-language developer audiences through meetups, conferences, forums, and online platforms - Produce educational content such as tutorials, blog posts, and code samples in Chinese - Gather developer feedback and translate it into actionable product insights - Represent the team's technical perspective in regional community discussions - Build relationships with local user group organizers, educators, and open-source contributors

Requirements - Native or fluent Chinese and professional working proficiency in English - Demonstrated record of public technical writing, talks, or community contributions - Familiarity with the tools, platforms, and workflows common to the regional developer audience - Comfort working remotely across time zones relevant to Greater China

Nice to have - Connections to universities, bootcamps, or developer communities across the region - Experience creating video, audio, or other Chinese-language learning material - Background contributing to open-source projects
