User Experience Research Assistant

Role overview Support the user research practice behind a privacy-first encrypted vault for personal photos and videos, where listening to users shapes flows that require trust and clarity. The role focuses on scheduling interviews, synthesizing feedback, and spotting usability friction in the most sensitive parts of the product.

Responsibilities - Recruit participants for moderated and unmoderated studies across a range of personas. - Take structured notes and tag themes such as onboarding, backup anxiety, and sharing fears. - Assist with usability test scripts and prototype walkthroughs. - Maintain a research repository accessible to Product and Design. - Summarize findings into actionable recommendations rather than raw transcript dumps.

Requirements - Experience as a UX research assistant or in customer research coordination. - Empathy and neutrality when users describe sensitive use cases. - Strong note-taking and synthesis skills. - Comfort with remote research tools such as Zoom, Maze, UserTesting, or similar platforms.
