Content & Localization Coordinator

Role overview

A localization-focused role on a privacy-first encrypted vault for personal photos and videos. The coordinator will make the product feel native across every market it serves by managing translations, locale QA, and culturally appropriate messaging across the app, website, and careers surfaces.

Responsibilities

- Manage translation batches for UI strings, marketing pages, and help content across supported locales - Run in-context QA on staging builds to catch truncation, RTL layout issues, and awkward phrasing - Maintain a glossary of product terms so translations stay consistent over time - Coordinate with engineers on locale file updates, fallbacks, and release timing - Track vendor or volunteer translator throughput and quality feedback loops

Requirements

- Experience localizing mobile or web software products across at least five target languages - Strong organizational skills with attention to string-level detail - Working knowledge of i18n concepts such as placeholders, pluralization, and locale codes

Nice to have

- Conversational fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, or French for spot-checking translations
