Job details
About this role
Role overview Build the lightweight endpoint sensors that power a Generative AI security platform, operating across endpoints, browsers, and production workloads. The role blends low-level systems engineering with real customer impact, turning GenAI risks such as prompt injection, sensitive-data leakage, and shadow AI into detected and prevented events. It is a staff-level position with end-to-end ownership from design through production troubleshooting.
Responsibilities - Design and optimize sensor components for high performance, low resource use, and reliability across diverse customer environments. - Build endpoint and browser security components and integrate them into the platform for real-time GenAI threat detection and data protection. - Evolve Agentic AI capabilities by helping design adaptive policy logic and expanding coverage across platforms. - Own customer-facing technical problems end-to-end, reproducing and resolving production issues quickly under real-world pressure. - Translate product roadmap and customer context into engineering decisions that move the business forward. - Collaborate across security engineering, QA, product, and customer-facing teams to hit shared goals. - Stay current on GenAI and platform security advances and fold relevant improvements into sensors, agents, and extensions.
Requirements - Strong proficiency in Python plus deep Windows, macOS, and/or OS internals experience for endpoint software. - Track record building performant, low-footprint endpoint or agent software for diverse environments. - Solid understanding of browser internals and extension architectures (Chrome, Firefox, or similar). - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an accountability-driven, growth mindset. - Business and product awareness, with the judgment to weigh technical trade-offs against customer and roadmap impact.
Nice to have - Hands-on experience shipping browser extensions for Chrome or Firefox.
Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $156,000–$215,000 USD, with location-based variation. - Equity participation through RSUs and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, FSAs, and voluntary plans. - Flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, gender-neutral parental leave, and grandparent leave. - Wellness coach, gym reimbursement, fertility and adoption support, home office allowance, and mobile phone reimbursement. - Remote-friendly U.S. role with opportunities to engage directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
