Role overview Serve as a senior pre-sales engineer supporting U.S. federal prospects and customers nationwide. The role aligns federal security priorities with an AI-native cybersecurity platform covering endpoint, cloud, identity, and data protection. It calls for a credible technical voice who can operate effectively in a regulated, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities - Collaborate with sales partners to develop federal territory and account strategies and tailored campaign plans. - Translate federal customer requirements into security architectures spanning data center, cloud, and enterprise environments. - Run proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements that validate platform fit for federal missions. - Prepare and lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations for both executive and practitioner audiences. - Navigate objections, position against competing technologies, and recommend additional offerings that improve cost-effectiveness. - Track SE-owned elements of the sales cycle and contribute to the wider technical community through knowledge sharing.
Requirements - 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, with a preference for endpoint cyber defense. - Demonstrable success selling into large and complex customer organizations, ideally including federal accounts. - Concise written and verbal communication skills for executive and technical audiences of all sizes. - Familiarity with hacking and exploitation tools, detection evasion techniques, and prominent malware and anti-malware solutions. - Willingness to travel up to 50% across the United States. - Ability to provide first-level technical support throughout the sales cycle, including initial implementation coverage.
Nice to have - Experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response.
