Role overview Partner with the commercial sales team as a senior pre-sales engineer covering the TOLA territory (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas). The role aligns mid-market prospect and customer security goals with an AI-native cybersecurity platform spanning endpoint, cloud, identity, and data protection. The position blends technical depth in endpoint security with the energy of a fast-moving sales motion.
Responsibilities - Co-develop territory and account strategies with sales counterparts and design targeted campaign plays. - Translate customer requirements into security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments. - Lead proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate measurable outcomes. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and executive briefings for both small and large audiences. - Handle objections, position against competing technologies, and recommend add-on offerings that improve cost-effectiveness. - Track sales-cycle artifacts owned by the SE function and contribute experience and best practices to the broader technical team.
Requirements - 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally focused on endpoint cyber defense. - Demonstrable track record selling to mid-size and large customers and successfully positioning against competitors. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for both executive and technical audiences. - Familiarity with hacking and exploitation tools, detection evasion techniques, and notable malware and anti-malware approaches. - Willingness to travel up to 50% across the TOLA region. - Ability to provide first-level technical support through the sales cycle, including early implementation support.
Nice to have - Background in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response.
