Role overview A senior pre-sales engineering position supporting Commercial Mid-Market prospects and customers across the South and Southeast territory. The role aligns customer goals and security requirements with a platform spanning endpoint, cloud, identity, and AI-system protection. It is built for a seasoned engineer who excels in a high-paced environment presenting to executives and security practitioners.
Responsibilities - Co-develop territory and account strategies and campaigns with sales partners. - Map customer requirements to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments. - Document sales-cycle activities owned by the pre-sales engineer. - Lead proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements end to end. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. - Support deal closure, product standards, and successful delivery handoff. - Recommend product enhancements and articulate cost-effectiveness to customers. - Contribute to the wider technical team through shared experience and best practices.
Requirements - Seven or more years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably endpoint defense. - Demonstrable experience handling objections and positioning against competing technologies. - Proven ability to speak to both small and large audiences. - Strong written and oral communication for executive and technical conversations. - Track record selling to mid-size and large customers. - Willingness to travel up to 50 percent.
Nice to have - Background in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response. - Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools, detection-evasion techniques, and notable malware and anti-malware solutions.
