Senior Data Scientist- Cybersecurity

Role overview Join a Static AI team that builds production machine learning models protecting millions of endpoints and processing billions of events per day. The work spans research, engineering, and shipping ML-driven malware detection engines that make sub-second decisions across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver ML-based detection engines that identify and stop malware in real time - Research emerging AI and ML approaches and integrate the most promising advances into the product - Build analytics systems that learn from diverse internal and external data sources to improve existing models and create new ones - Take ownership of projects from initial research through production deployment

Requirements - Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience - Experience building and curating large datasets for training ML models, with solid grounding in classical ML and statistics - Active daily use of AI tools in your workflow - Three or more years designing, training, and evaluating ML models in production systems - Ability to independently drive projects end-to-end and translate business needs into technical solutions - Strong communication skills for working across product, support, and engineering functions - Comfort operating in a globally distributed team with an all-hands-on-deck mindset

Nice to have - Cyber domain experience, especially with detection systems or static file analysis - Cloud infrastructure or MLOps experience - Hands-on work with Spark, PySpark, or Databricks
