Senior Software Engineer

Role overview

Build backend systems that interpret content across the open web, connected TV, and in-app environments. You’ll help turn data science and AI innovations into reliable production services for a high-volume real-time advertising platform.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency services in Go for a real-time bidding environment. - Integrate data science experiments, large language model capabilities, and other AI approaches into production systems. - Build APIs, services, and data pipelines for large volumes of contextual data. - Prototype and evaluate methods for understanding content across web, connected TV, and apps. - Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability, and contribute to architectural decisions. - Work with data science, AI, and product colleagues to deliver useful outcomes.

Requirements

- Strong software engineering experience building production backend systems. - Ability to develop clean, maintainable services and solve complex engineering problems. - Experience with cloud infrastructure, production monitoring, and observability. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code. - Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

- Experience with Python, Node.js, or TypeScript. - Background in advertising technology, real-time bidding, OpenRTB, or connected TV. - Experience with large-scale data processing or real-time advertising systems.
