Solutions Architect - EMEA
Job details
About this role
Role overview A pre-sales solutions architect role focused on the EMEA region for an AI-powered media infrastructure platform serving major sports organizations. The position partners closely with sales to scope customer needs, design end-to-end technical workflows, lead complex RFP responses, and act as a trusted technical advisor to media, production, and IT stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end responses to RFPs and tenders across EMEA, assembling documents, pulling in product, engineering, and sales input, and serving as the technical voice in complex evaluations including archive migration and multi-system environments. - Join sales cycles from the second technical meeting onward to uncover constraints, map current and target workflows, and translate customer goals into clear capture, ingest, management, and distribution flows. - Produce architecture diagrams, workflow maps, and scoping inputs that help mixed technical and non-technical audiences align quickly on solution shape and cost. - Build and maintain the documentation, templates, and technical collateral the regional sales team uses independently, and answer day-to-day technical questions from six to seven salespeople. - Manage relationships with systems integrators and workflow vendors, bring them into deals when needed, and coordinate a clean handover to the deployment engineer who owns post-signature implementation. - Feed recurring workflow patterns and customer constraints back into product and engineering to improve what is sold and how it is delivered.
Requirements - Around 2–5 years in a technical role with direct customer exposure, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation, Technical Account Management, or an engineering role pulled into pre-sales and design work. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to hold a room of technical and non-technical stakeholders and become the trusted advisor in mixed audiences. - Comfort reasoning about deal scoping, trade-offs, and the drivers of technical and commercial complexity.
Nice to have - Awareness of media, broadcast, or Media Asset Management workflows as useful context rather than a hard requirement.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role based anywhere in Western Europe, with a requirement to live within roughly an hour of a major international airport. - Approximately 20–30% travel expected, primarily to client sites and industry conferences, with strongest customer footprint in the UK and Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and the Nordics.
