Senior Data Scientist Greece

Role overview Lead technical data science work from problem definition and solution design through production delivery. The work covers long-running AI agents, privacy-preserving model training, behavioural and identity intelligence, geospatial modelling, and synthetic data; you will guide projects while partnering with engineers and domain experts.

Responsibilities - Translate business needs into clearly scoped data science projects and choose appropriate modelling approaches. - Develop models and agents, along with evaluation systems that assess their reliability and safety. - Lead projects end to end, planning delivery and coordinating with the team. - Build training and evaluation infrastructure and work with engineers to deploy solutions. - Explain complex technical work to engineers, specialists, and senior stakeholders. - Mentor data scientists and help improve the team's technical standards.

Requirements - At least 5 years building machine learning or AI models and taking them into production. - Deep modelling expertise across structured and unstructured data. - Hands-on experience developing systems powered by large language models. - Strong Python and software engineering practices, including version control, testing, code review, and CI/CD. - Demonstrated technical project leadership and experience mentoring data scientists. - Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have - Experience with temporal or geospatial data, or production agents. - Knowledge of federated learning, clean rooms, or other privacy-preserving approaches. - Background in marketing technology, advertising, audience modelling, or media mix modelling. - Publications at leading research venues or meaningful open-source work.
