Staff Product Designer

Role overview The Staff Product Designer will shape product direction and deliver design work across multiple product areas, from early problem framing through launch and iteration. You’ll partner with product and engineering leaders, engage directly with strategic customers, and establish interaction and visual patterns that other teams can build on. The role also includes contributing production code to design systems and web and mobile products.

Responsibilities - Lead complex, ambiguous initiatives spanning multiple product areas, guiding work from defining the problem to launch and ongoing refinement. - Use customer conversations and product data to inform decisions, including through regular engagement with strategic customers. - Set a high bar for interaction and visual design and establish reusable patterns for other designers and teams. - Use AI tools throughout the design process and help teams adopt effective new ways of working. - Ship code across design systems, web products, and mobile apps. - Keep current with emerging design trends and tools, and contribute to the design community. - Mentor designers and partner with senior leaders.

Requirements - At least 10 years of product design experience for web and mobile applications, including leadership across multiple product areas. - A portfolio or case studies demonstrating strong design craft and measurable impact across multiple products or platform-wide systems; a portfolio is required for consideration. - Deep interaction and visual design skills, with sound judgment in defining patterns that others can use. - Regular use of AI tools in design practice, with shipped work that demonstrates their application. - Experience mentoring designers and working with senior leadership.
