Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities - Take ownership of technically complex, mission-critical product and platform areas and drive them to delivery with minimal oversight. - Define technical strategy for new products and platform capabilities, spanning backend services, APIs, and customer-facing UI. - Design and ship full-stack features end to end, often applying AI to real operational problems. - Partner with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate ambiguous, real-world problems into clear technical plans. - Build and scale the systems behind AI-driven products, including data ingestion, APIs, and operator-facing workflows. - Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, design reviews, mentorship, and a high standard for quality and craft.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Several years of professional software engineering experience building production systems at scale. - Strong full-stack or backend chops with the ability to move across services, frontend, and integrations. - Comfort designing and shipping AI-powered or data-driven features. - Track record of leading complex initiatives end to end and influencing technical direction across teams. - Excellent communication and a customer-obsessed, owner mentality.

Nice to have - Experience building zero-to-one products rather than maintaining legacy systems. - Familiarity with IoT, telematics, video, or other physical-world data domains. - Background working closely with end users in customer interviews and product discovery.
