A senior backend engineering role on a revenue intelligence platform that combines large-scale data pipelines with AI-driven forecasting. The position leads the design, development, and operation of microservices that process millions of daily workflows powering enterprise revenue decisions. The work is fully remote within Mexico and emphasizes reliability, performance, and architectural leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and scaling of backend services interacting with data pipelines and front-end web applications handling millions of daily workflows. - Architect AI-based solutions that address real revenue forecasting and decision-support problems. - Investigate complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ship durable fixes. - Build reusable backend services, data integration capabilities, and developer tooling for data-driven products. - Drive technical design discussions and contribute to long-term application architecture decisions. - Mentor engineers, raise engineering standards through code reviews, and share knowledge across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years building reliable, scalable production software in Java or Go within microservice environments. - Strong understanding of distributed systems and operating production systems at scale. - Demonstrated ability to improve reliability, performance, and operational excellence, including incident resolution and root-cause analysis. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS. - Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL stores such as MongoDB, including modeling and performance optimization. - Working knowledge of observability tooling (metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting) and standard Java/Go testing frameworks. - Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and support teams.
