About this role
Role overview We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build the pipelines and infrastructure that move, transform, and secure data across the company, with a focus on security analytics, internal reporting, and trustworthy data flows. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of data pipelines, modeling, and governance, treating reliability, privacy, and quality as first-class requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that move and transform data reliably across systems - Model and structure data for analytics, reporting, and security use cases - Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across the pipelines and datasets you own - Build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers security analytics and internal decision-making - Partner with security, analytics, and business teams to deliver well-governed, trustworthy data - Automate and harden data workflows, prioritizing reliability and security by design
Requirements
- Strong experience as a data engineer building and maintaining production data pipelines - Proficiency in SQL and a major programming language such as Python for data engineering - Hands-on experience with modern data pipeline and orchestration tooling and cloud data platforms - Solid understanding of data modeling, data quality, and governance practices - Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP
Nice to have
- Experience building data infrastructure for security analytics or other sensitive-data use cases - Familiarity with streaming data systems such as Kafka or Kinesis and modern warehouse or lakehouse platforms - Exposure to data infrastructure that supports AI/ML workloads
