Wallet Infrastructure Engineer (Web3)
Job details
About this role
Role overview Build wallet and signing integrations that place payment checks in the path of an agent’s transaction while leaving control of customer keys with the customer or their provider. The work spans smart accounts, custody integrations and multiple blockchains, with a focus on ensuring that a transaction cannot proceed without a valid signed decision.
Responsibilities - Develop agent smart accounts on Base using account abstraction, including session keys with spending limits. - Ensure account execution requires a signed payment verdict, using a verifier shared with escrow flows. - Integrate with custody and wallet providers by determining how checks fit into policy rules, approval quorums or co-signer callbacks. - Extend comparable safeguards to Solana smart accounts in collaboration with the engineer responsible for Solana programs. - Plan account support for Ethereum, Arbitrum and Polygon, and contribute to later work on agent identity and keys.
Requirements - Production experience with wallets or key management in at least one area: smart accounts, MPC or threshold signing, passkeys, custody, or signing services. - Residence in a country where the organization can hire. - Relevant experience may come from employment or independent work, including open source and personal projects.
Nice to have - Knowledge of ERC-4337 or ERC-7579, or experience building with Safe or Squads. - Familiarity with EIP-712 or EIP-1271 signatures and wallet-provider APIs. - Ability to write Solidity or Rust.
Benefits and work setup The stated US salary range is $170,000–$220,000; offers elsewhere are benchmarked to the local market, with USD or USDC payment available. The package includes vesting equity, health coverage or a contribution toward private cover, 25 vacation days plus public holidays, a year-end closure, 14 weeks of paid parental leave, a laptop and workspace allowance, and an annual learning budget. Hours are flexible, with a shared team availability window of 14:00–17:00 UTC; adjustments can be discussed when needed. A compatible second job is permitted.
