Job details
About this role
Role overview As an early engineer, lead the full-stack product that helps finance teams oversee spending by AI agents. You will shape the product and its engineering foundations, building the customer console, policy and approval workflows, and a record of payment decisions that connects to onchain activity. The role spans architecture, customer feedback, backend services, and a React interface.
Responsibilities - Set the product codebase’s architecture and practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring. - Build the customer-facing console, policy editor, approval flows, and sandbox across the database and UI. - Represent agent spending, pending payments, decisions, settlement status, and receipts in the product. - Connect product records to EVM or Solana activity so payments can be traced from approval to chain. - Speak with integrating customers, identify friction, and deliver practical improvements promptly. - Help shape the engineering team as it grows.
Requirements - Experience shipping TypeScript in both a React frontend and a Node.js backend for a paid product. - Experience building against an EVM chain or Solana, using tools such as viem or ethers. - Residence in a country where the position can be hired.
Nice to have - Experience with payment or fintech dashboards, Postgres, or event streams. - Familiarity with Go, agent frameworks, or MCP. - Experience as an early engineer at a growing company.
Benefits and work setup - US salary range: $190,000–$225,000; offers elsewhere are benchmarked to the local market and paid in USD or optionally USDC. - Vesting equity, health coverage, 25 days of paid vacation plus public holidays, year-end closure, and 14 weeks of paid parental leave. - Laptop, $1,000 workspace allowance, and $1,500 annual learning budget; work-related conference travel is also covered. - Flexible hours, with team overlap expected from 14:00 to 17:00 UTC. A second job is allowed if it does not create a conflict.
