Full Stack Product Engineer

Role overview

This senior product engineering role owns customer-facing product slices from backend services through operational tooling and mobile interfaces. The work is backend-anchored but deliberately full stack: engineers make product decisions, collaborate across technical layers, and ship complete outcomes in a small, high-leverage team.

Responsibilities

- Take features from Kotlin/Spring services through administrative or operations interfaces and into the customer mobile experience. - Build clean, reliable, correctness-critical backend services within a shared service monorepo. - Extend Next.js control modules and integrate required functionality into a Flutter application. - Own every technical layer needed for a product slice instead of handing work between separate backend, web, and mobile teams. - Use AI coding agents such as Claude or Cursor for implementation, review, and delivery as part of the normal engineering workflow. - Make scope and product trade-offs, keep work focused on customer outcomes, and maintain quality through code review, RFCs, ADRs, and AI-assisted checks.

Requirements

- Senior backend engineering experience, especially with Kotlin and Spring or a comparable typed/JVM technology background. - Ability to work across backend services, web-based operational tooling, and mobile application code. - Comfort owning ambiguous problems end to end and making practical product and technical decisions. - Experience building reliable systems where correctness and maintainability matter. - Willingness to use AI development tools routinely as part of coding and review. - Strong written communication and judgment around architecture, scope, and engineering quality.
