Senior Fullstack Engineer (Vue/Python)

Role overview

This senior full-stack role centers on delivering a product that combines modern web interfaces with AI-powered capabilities. The position spans feature design, implementation, integration, testing, and release, with substantial ownership across the application stack.

Responsibilities

- Build product features with Vue 3 and TypeScript on the frontend and Python with Django on the backend. - Create and maintain REST APIs using Django REST Framework, including associated business logic and data models. - Develop background processing pipelines and contribute to reliable distributed-system behavior. - Design, refine, and optimize relational database schemas, queries, and migrations in PostgreSQL. - Connect the product with external services and third-party APIs, while improving AI capabilities such as language-model features, agents, retrieval, and evaluation. - Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex; maintain automated tests with pytest, Vitest, and Playwright; and collaborate through delivery.

Requirements

- At least five years of professional software development experience. - Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django. - At least three years of commercial experience with Vue.js and TypeScript. - Solid knowledge of REST API design and backend architecture. - Practical experience with PostgreSQL database design, migrations, and query optimization. - Experience building background processing pipelines and working with distributed systems, plus hands-on expertise in AI-powered product functionality.
