Sr/Staff Product Manager, Research Products

Role overview Lead product direction for AI research products, connecting emerging model capabilities with customer needs and business goals. The role spans the product lifecycle—from shaping early research and model development through user experience, launch, pricing, and go-to-market—and carries broad ownership of a product area.

Responsibilities - Set the product strategy and roadmap, including decisions from early model work through launch and commercialization. - Work with research teams to translate user needs and technical capabilities into product requirements and priorities. - Partner with engineering and design to ship new offerings and improve existing products, making informed technical tradeoffs. - Define product metrics, run experiments such as A/B tests, and analyze data to identify problems and prioritize work. - Speak with users regularly and use their feedback to guide product decisions. - Coordinate pricing and go-to-market plans with business teams.

Requirements - At least four years of product management experience, including taking products from zero to launch. - A strong technical or quantitative foundation, such as relevant education or prior professional coding experience in engineering, data science, analytics, or a technical founding role. - Practical fluency with SQL, Python, AI code-generation tools, and version-control practices. - Working knowledge of current machine-learning capabilities and products, with the ability to discuss tradeoffs with technical teams. - Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have - Experience with generative AI, creative software, or media products. - Prior ownership of product pricing or go-to-market strategy.
