Platform Engineer (DevOps)

Role overview

This position centers on building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers autonomous AI agents operating within the secure, isolated environments used by banks and insurance companies. The work blends platform engineering with DevOps practices to deliver reliable, regulated-grade systems for high-stakes financial workloads. It is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on cloud-native tooling and Kubernetes-based deployments.

Responsibilities

- Design and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform to provision reproducible environments - Package and deploy services using Helm charts across Kubernetes clusters - Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for performance and reliability - Configure and maintain Cilium for networking, security, and observability across the platform - Ensure infrastructure meets the isolation, compliance, and security requirements of financial services clients - Collaborate with engineering teams to support autonomous AI agent workloads in production

Requirements

- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation - Proficiency with Helm for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment - Solid background operating Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) at scale - Working knowledge of Cilium for Kubernetes networking and security policies - Familiarity with isolated or restricted cloud environments and the constraints they impose - Understanding of security and compliance considerations relevant to banking and insurance workloads
