Role overview

Act as a generalist builder who can move from an unclear business problem to a useful, working system. This remote role is suited to someone who diagnoses how work gets done, designs practical workflows, chooses appropriate tools, and ships solutions with a strong focus on business outcomes rather than narrow role boundaries.

Responsibilities

- Investigate operational or commercial problems and identify the underlying workflow or systems opportunity. - Design practical processes and software-enabled solutions that improve how work is performed. - Build and deploy working systems, making sensible tradeoffs across speed, quality, maintainability, and user needs. - Work comfortably across strategy, implementation, and day-to-day adoption instead of stopping at recommendations. - Evaluate when AI output is useful, identify when it is unreliable, and incorporate automation judiciously. - Communicate directly with stakeholders and keep momentum in ambiguous environments without waiting for highly detailed tickets.

- Demonstrated ability to build and ship useful systems, workflows, or side projects; evidence of work is valued highly. - Strong business judgment and the ability to connect technical choices to measurable outcomes. - Comfort operating as a generalist across problem diagnosis, solution design, and implementation. - Ability to work independently through ambiguity and make decisions without extensive ceremony. - Practical understanding of AI capabilities and limitations. - Preference for small, high-trust teams and hands-on delivery.
