About this role
Role overview Build the engineering foundation for provider onboarding in a healthcare setting, improving the tools and workflows used by both internal teams and external providers. The role combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, helping a new team deliver dependable capabilities for pricing, payments, client panels, and forms.
Responsibilities - Shape the architecture and implementation approach for provider onboarding products and services. - Build and improve database-backed applications and microservices that support internal and external workflows. - Partner across technical and nontechnical teams to turn operational needs into product solutions. - Lead work through planning, specification, delivery, outcome measurement, and ongoing maintenance. - Mentor engineers, review designs, and establish reusable engineering patterns. - Help improve reliability and operational processes for complex, high-trust systems.
Requirements - At least four years of software engineering experience, including one or more years working on healthcare or comparable systems. - At least one year contributing to a new project or team. - Full-stack experience building modern web applications backed by SQL or NoSQL databases, plus experience developing microservices. - Experience collaborating across functions and explaining technical decisions to nontechnical partners. - Background mentoring engineers, reviewing architecture, and guiding work across the full development lifecycle. - Ability to deliver sustainable solutions for complex systems.
Nice to have - Startup experience; SaaS development on AWS; or work on systems with demanding reliability or accuracy needs. - On-call experience and the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently. - Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, or Kafka.
