Senior Project Manager - Professional Services

Role overview Lead complex enterprise technology implementations as a senior customer-facing project manager in a professional services organization. The role combines delivery ownership and executive stakeholder management with mentoring other project managers and helping strengthen the organization’s project governance and delivery practices.

Responsibilities - Manage several concurrent customer projects from kickoff through completion, establishing scope, success measures, milestones, budgets, and resource plans. - Track dependencies, risks, and issues; coordinate resolutions and keep delivery on schedule. - Act as a primary contact and escalation lead for customer executives, internal technical and commercial teams, and external partners. - Oversee quality throughout project delivery and ensure outcomes align with customer objectives. - Work with services leadership to improve governance, operating procedures, methodologies, metrics, and project health reporting. - Review workflows and tools for bottlenecks, support resource planning, and coach less experienced project managers.

Requirements - At least eight years managing customer-facing enterprise technical projects in professional services or consulting. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - Experience building or scaling PMO governance, delivery methods, and project tracking processes, including AI-supported approaches. - A record of leading multiple complex, high-visibility engagements in a fast-paced technology environment. - Experience mentoring and developing junior or mid-level project managers. - Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; proficiency with project management tools and Google Workspace.

Nice to have - Background in cloud infrastructure, data management or protection, enterprise storage, cybersecurity, or SaaS delivery. - Additional Agile or Scrum, IT service management, or change management credentials. - Familiarity with professional services financial measures such as revenue recognition, margins, and utilization.
