About this role
Role overview A freelance, fully remote senior FX artist position supporting visual-effects work for feature film and other motion-picture projects. Requirements - Senior-level experience as an FX artist in film, episodic, or comparable motion-picture visual effects work. - Strong portfolio demonstrating photoreal and stylized simulations. - Proficiency with industry-standard FX tools such as Houdini, along with familiarity in Nuke, Maya, or equivalent DCC packages. - Ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed production environment. - Comfortable communicating across time zones and providing clear progress updates.
Nice to have - Experience contributing to feature-quality productions at a senior or lead level. - Familiarity with pipeline tools and shot-tracking systems commonly used in remote VFX workflows. - Lighting or compositing skills that complement FX work.
